Created in-studio, these are large format photographs of detailed miniature dioramas shot underwater with technical and aesthetic precision. Evocative, ethereal, and ephemeral lighting effects contribute to the images' allure. Due to fact that the photos are available as C-prints, we can guess that the original image capture is on color negative film. I have to wonder if this Ansel Adams image has become the Mona Lisa of the 'Photography World'? It seems like it is the print to own by auction goers.
